International Institute of Welding/European Welding Federation

IIW/EWF personnel holding an EWF/IIW diploma are qualified to perform welding coordination activities as described in ISO 14731, whose compliance is required by BS EN ISO 3834 (quality requirements for fusion welding of metallic materials).

Certification Scheme for Welding Inspection Personnel (CSWIP)

CSWIP provides internationally recognized, role-specific competence for people engaged in welding, joining, materials integrity and inspection in manufacturing, construction, operation or repair of high integrity structures, plant or machinery. CSWIP certification schemes are UKAS-accredited to ISO/IEC 17024, the international standard for personnel certification.

Personal Certification in Non-Destructive testing (PCN)

The PCN scheme, an internationally recognized scheme for the certification competence of NDT personnel, is accredited as meeting the requirements of European Standards ISO/IEC 17024 and EN 473, and international standard ISO 9712.

American Society for Non-destructive Testing (ASNT)

ASNT offers NDT certification schemes for individuals leading to qualifications/approvals in NDT at ACCP Levels 2 and 3 and for companies (SNT-TC-1A).

NACE

For over 30 years, the NACE Coating Inspector Program has set the standard for inspections in the protective coatings industry and is the world’s most recognized coating inspector certification program. CIP is the first international certification program designed to improve the overall quality of inspections performed, and it continues to provide the most complete training curriculum, producing top-notch inspectors for the industry.

FROSIO

FROSIO acts through formulation of quality requirements for surface treatment and insulation inspectors. FROSIO approval and certification scheme have achieved high international recognition and a FROSIO certified inspector is a specific requirement within different standards and specifications.

ICORR

The ICorr certification scheme is a scheme for the training, certification and registration of industrial coating applicators employed by organizations registered with Correx Ltd the company which administers the scheme on behalf of ICorr.

BGAS-CSWIP

The system is primarily designed for inspectors involved in one or more of a number of activities related to pipelines. BGAS-CSWIP qualifications are highly regarded pipeline specific qualifications, which complement the well-known CSWIP inspection qualifications. Both are internationally recognized.

American Petroleum Institute (API)

API’s certifications have come to be regarded as the most demanded and desired credentials in the industry. They provide applicants with means to improve their skills through learning and strengthening their overall job performance. API certified inspectors and personnel are recognized worldwide as professionals who are fully knowledgeable of the relevant industry inspection codes and standards, and who are capable of performing their jobs in accordance with the latest and most acceptable industry inspection practices.

Aramco

This certification scheme is specific to Saudi Aramco projects. The scheme is designed specifically for inspections carried out on Aramco equipment for Aramco projects.
